LIFE INSURANCE

Many people today take out life insurance policies. They do this in the hope that they are securing their future by preparing for the worst. (death) The Bible teaches us that we are to have a different kind of life insurance. The kind that can only be found in/through Christ Jesus. (John 3:16) (Acts 4:12)     (1 John 3:1)

GOD/Jesus offers us all the gift of salvation. But it came at a price Isaiah 53:5 , 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. 1 Corinthians says that we were 'bought with a price'. Our freedom was bought at a price.

CHRIST paid the penalty for our sins. HE took the world's guilt upon HIS shoulders. "And with His stripes we are healed". Now every single human being which is born into the world can call on Him and be saved. John 1:12  The precious blood of Jesus has washed us clean from all sin. From the crown of our head to the sole of our feet. HIS blood has covered our sins from yesterday, today and tomorrow. When we sin, (and we must not presumptiously or intentionally sin) we can come to HIM and be cleansed.1 John 1:9

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

If you have not accepted Christ into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour, then do so today.
Say this prayer with me,

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I know that I am a sinner. I confess that You are Lord and that You died on the cross for my sins, so that I might live/have salvation. I believe that GOD the Father raised You from the dead on the third day and that You ascended into Heaven. Please forgive me and cleanse me from my sin. And come into my heart. Change my life. I long to follow You. Amen.

If you have just said this prayer then you have entered into an everlasting friendship with JESUS.
Will you open the door of your heart to JESUS?

For HE has said “I will never leave thee(you) nor forsake thee(you)” Hebrews 13:5
Jesus offers us the best life insurance we could ever have. HE offers us life eternal. He promises (once we’ve out our trust in Him and accepted Him in to our lives) that when die we will spend eternity with Him in Heaven. We have this comforting guarantee. Jesus conquered death in the grave. We no longer have to fear death. John 16:33, John 14:27. According to 1 Thessalonians 4:12-18  we should not mourn as those who have no hope. This is our hope. Just as Jesus was raised from the dead by GOD the Father, so will we also be raised from the dead to reign and live with Christ Jesus (the King of kings and the Lord of lords) for all eternity. World without end. Amen.

Memory Verse: - Need life insurance? Come to JESUS.

John 14:6- Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

The Infallible WORD

Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

"All Scripture is breathed out by GOD and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of GOD may be competent, equipped for every good work."

GOD's Word is infallible. It is sure and it stands forever. (Luke 21:33) We as Christians can rest secure in the fact that GOD keeps his promises. Unlike man who changes (direction, thoughts, motives) like the wind; GOD never changes. HE is consistent. We can trust HIM completely. We depend on HIM, rely on HIM, need HIM. And HE loves us and provides and cares for us, regardless of what we do. How HE treats us, how good HE is towards us does not depend on us or what we could ever do for HIM. HE loves us unconditionally. Unlike human beings, HE sees things differently. (1 Samuel:7) GOD doesn't judge us based on physical appearance or charisma. HE looks at our hearts. HE is above us and so HIS ways of doing thinking is far greater than anything we could ever even being to comprehend. (Isaiah 55:8-9)

The Word of GOD is: -
  • alive and powerful
  • sharper than a tw-edged sword
  • milk
  • sword- Ephesians 6
  • a hammer
  • fire
  • living water

There are many comparisons made in the Scripture to help us understand the importance of God's Word in our lives. It is compared to light, fire, hammer, nail, bread, seed, shield and sword. In the book of James it is compared to a mirror.

'All Scripture is inspired by GOD'
Everything in The Bible is complete truth, because it is the Word of GOD. And GOD cannot lie. HE is honest and true.

Read Psalm 127

Exept The LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it. (vs 1)

Salvation is of the LORD!

Salvation is of the LORD!
Salvation is of the LORD. Thy blessing is upon Thy people. Selah

Isn't it great that our salvation is fixed. No one can take away our salvation. The precious blood of JESUS CHRIST has cleansed us from the crown of our head to the sole of our feet. From head to toe. HE (the precious Lamb of GOD) has cleansed us from all our sin. Washed it all away.

For there is now no condemnation to them which are in Christ. (Romans 8)

That means that we have a clean slate. A fresh start. In CHRIST JESUS.
Have ever made such a mess of things that you wish you could just start over? That the mistake you made and its reprecussions would just vanish? Well that's what GOD did for us when HE sent His one and only Son (JESUS CHRIST) to die on the cross for our sins.
John 3:16- "For GOD so loved the world that HE sent HIS only begotten Son that whosever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

From the very first sin, (Adam and Eve) GOD had a Divine Plan to rescue humanity from itself. HE wants us for Himself. '

Come let us worship and bow down,
Let us kneel before the LORD our GOD our Maker.
Come let us worship and bow down,
Let us kneel before the LORD our GOD our Maker.

For HE is our GOD,
And we are the people of HIS pasture,
And the sheep of HIS Hand,
Just the sheep of HIS Hand.

The Almighty GOD is cradling you right now. No matter what you're going through, HE is carrying you. Just put your complete trust in HIM.

Suffering for the right reasons

READ 2 Corinthians 1

"Blessed be GOD, even the FATHER our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the GOD of all comfort." Vs 3

When we suffer for doing right we should be glad because we are sharing in the suffering of Christ; and therefore we will share also in the glory of Christ. (find scripture)

GOD allows us to endure suffering so that when we've come out of it- and GOD does comfort and support us right throughout our suffering- we can then support and comfort others who go through suffering. -Psalm 46: 1. We can sympathize with them and give testimony of how GOD saw them through all their troubles. Suffering can make you into a better person. It helps to mould you into the person GOD wants you to be. GOD wnats the very best for you. HE wants you to become the very best that you can be.
"For I know the thoughts I have of you."
Jeremiah 29: 11
"they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength..." (Isaiah 40:31
In the midst of trouble we can rest secure in the knowledge that "No weapon formed against thee shall prosper". For GOD promises that HE "will never leave us(you) nor forsake us(you)"
HE aims to transform you, reform you

Romans 12:2 (King James Version)

2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
