The Infallible WORD

Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

"All Scripture is breathed out by GOD and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of GOD may be competent, equipped for every good work."

GOD's Word is infallible. It is sure and it stands forever. (Luke 21:33) We as Christians can rest secure in the fact that GOD keeps his promises. Unlike man who changes (direction, thoughts, motives) like the wind; GOD never changes. HE is consistent. We can trust HIM completely. We depend on HIM, rely on HIM, need HIM. And HE loves us and provides and cares for us, regardless of what we do. How HE treats us, how good HE is towards us does not depend on us or what we could ever do for HIM. HE loves us unconditionally. Unlike human beings, HE sees things differently. (1 Samuel:7) GOD doesn't judge us based on physical appearance or charisma. HE looks at our hearts. HE is above us and so HIS ways of doing thinking is far greater than anything we could ever even being to comprehend. (Isaiah 55:8-9)

The Word of GOD is: -
  • alive and powerful
  • sharper than a tw-edged sword
  • milk
  • sword- Ephesians 6
  • a hammer
  • fire
  • living water

There are many comparisons made in the Scripture to help us understand the importance of God's Word in our lives. It is compared to light, fire, hammer, nail, bread, seed, shield and sword. In the book of James it is compared to a mirror.

'All Scripture is inspired by GOD'
Everything in The Bible is complete truth, because it is the Word of GOD. And GOD cannot lie. HE is honest and true.
